Terms of use

You may use this free tool for personal or commercial weaving, subject to the practical limits below.

Your patterns

You keep the rights you have in patterns you create. You may use your generated thread order and exports for personal projects or items you sell. You are responsible for ensuring that imported colors, names or copied designs do not infringe another person's rights.

Tool scope

Version one supports a simple alternating heddled/open thread order for plain-weave inkle planning. The visual band is a color-order preview, not an exact fabric, yarn-consumption, sett, tension, width or structural simulation.

Check before weaving

Review thread count, starting shed, color totals and the printed sequence before measuring or cutting yarn. Follow the instructions and safety guidance supplied with your loom. Make a sample when material cost, fit, strength or color outcome matters.

Local storage and exports

Browser storage can be cleared or become unavailable. We do not guarantee recovery of a local pattern. Download a JSON backup for work you need to preserve and check exported files before relying on them at the loom.

Feedback and public notes

If you submit optional feedback, it enters moderation and is not published automatically. We may approve, reject, edit only to remove sensitive information, or later remove a note at our discretion. Approved notes may display the submitted message, outcome rating, optional display name and date; do not include confidential information or pattern data you do not want to share.

Availability

The service is provided as available without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular project. Features may change as correctness and user needs are better understood.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, the site owner is not liable for wasted materials, lost local data, inaccurate physical expectations or indirect losses resulting from use of the tool. These terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be limited.
